Despite acting in so many films together, he shouted ‘Oh my God’ when Mohanlal took off his wig

When we hear the name of Babu Namboothiri, we immediately remember Thangal of Thoovanathumbikal. His character in the film is still in the minds of the Malayalees and the reason for it is K N Neelakantan Namboothiri alias Babu Namboothiri's acting style. Even after Thoovanathumbikal, he managed to remain active in Malayalam cinema through many roles. He has done 215 films in 42 years exactly. Babu Namboothiri, who saw the growth of superstars like Mammootty and Mohanlal, said some interesting things about them in a recent interview.

He was referring to the use of wigs by film stars. He said that he likes Rajinikanth's style in films.

‘Rajinikanth's style is better. Many of our actors wear wigs all the time except when sleeping. No one has hair nowadays? Siddique is the only one who has no problem in showing his baldness. Lalu Alex had told me that Mohanlal had showed him his true image.
