KOLKATA: A 20-year-old woman shot and killed her lover, who was married with four children. The incident happened in Bengal. The deceased is Akhlaque Alam, a native of Jamshedpur. The woman, Parul Khatunwas, has been arrested by the police. The woman was produced in court and remanded in police custody for six days. Parul has not revealed the source of the gun used to kill his lover and the bike he rode on. The police said that the person who helped the woman will be found soon.
Last day, Akhlaque was found lying in a pool of blood near the Madanpur railway station. He was rushed to the hospital but died. Then the police registered a case and started the investigation and his relatives were informed. The investigation reached Parul Khatunwas on checking Akhlaque's mobile phone.
Parul lives with her father in Jatrapur. On the day of the murder, locals said they saw the two talking in a nearby area. The police got information that the woman knew how to ride a bike and was addicted to drugs.
"The two were close for the last four years. Parul recently told Akhlaque that she wanted to end the relationship, which he didn't agree to. The woman confessed that this led to the murder.", the cops said.
