THRISSUR: Minister V Sivankutty has asked to give a report regarding the audio recording from the Director of General Education which appeared on channels. The Minister has directed the Director of General Education S Shanavas IAS to investigate the incident and submit a report. The minister's decision came after the audio recording of the Director of General Education criticizing the distribution of marks came out.

The voice recording of the Director of Public Education had a criticism that even children who do not know how to read get A+. The criticism made in the audio recording was raised during the SSLC question paper preparation workshop.

At the same time, Sivankutty responded that it is not the government's policy to automatically increase the quality by failing the children. The minister also stated that the government policy is to protect and improve the public education sector. Commenting on how to critically approach education in workshops that are held entirely internally should not be seen as the government's position, Sivankutty said. He added that the government's policy is to increase quality by including and involving all children, and there is no intention to change that.
