Murdered wife by stabbing her 11 times with kitchen knife; husband arrested in Chengannur

CHENGANNUR: In a horrific incident, a woman was stabbed to death by her husband. The incident took place at Piralassery in Chengannur in Alappuzha. The deceased has been identified as Chengannur native Radha (62). Police have taken Radha's husband Sivankutty (68) into custody.

The incident took place at around 3 pm on Tuesday. According to sources, a family dispute between the two led to the murder. Following the dispute, Sivankutty beat Radha and attacked her with a kitchen knife. Police said that Sivankutty stabbed Radha 11 times with a kitchen knife. Radha's body is kept at the Chengannur Taluk Hospital.
