2.84 lakh complaints in Navakerala Sadas

navakerala-

THRISSUR: With the Navakerala Sadas that started in Manjeshwar Kasaragod concluding today in the district, 2,84,569 complaints have been received till Tuesday. No official information is available on how many complaints have been resolved.

District-level officials will decide within two weeks on complaints and a maximum of four weeks if further process is required. The district officers will submit a report through the head of the department on the issues to be decided at the state level. Such complaints will be resolved within 45 days. An interim reply will also be given to the applicant. The status of petitions and complaints can be obtained through the website www.navakeralasadas.kerala.gov.in. Enter the receipt number or the mobile number of the complaint to get the status. Efforts are also being made to prepare a system for the submission of petitions at the venues by minimising the difficulty caused due to crowding. The last sadas in the district will happen today at the Chalakudy Carmel School ground. Following this, the sadas will enter Ernakulam district.

20 counters

There are about 20 counters in each sadas to lodge complaints. There are general counters and special counters for women, senior citizens and differently-abled persons. Applications are being accepted three hours before the start of the event. The counters will be closed only after ensuring that the last complaint has been received.

There are volunteers to manage the crowd at the counters and assist the complainants. It has been instructed that special care should be taken in the case of senior citizens and differently-abled persons. Applicants must include complete address and phone number. The complainant receives the information including the phone number of the officer for further action as a mobile message as per the complaint docket number.

Some have changed their minds after seeing the public participation in Sadas: Chief Minister

Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan said that after realizing the people's participation in Navakerala Sadas, some of the UDF members have changed, and this is shown by the action of TN Prathapan MP, who gave notice for an urgent motion in the Lok Sabha to end the neglect towards Kerala. He was inaugurating Navakerala Sadas in the Kaipamangalam constituency.

The central government is taking a hostile approach towards Kerala, which is a model for India. The Center is cutting all the funds that Kerala is entitled to, including tax allocation and loans. They are also blocking KIIFB. The state is being economically crushed. The 18 MPs of UDF who were supposed to question this in Parliament did not say a word. The government called a meeting and asked for it, but nothing was done. After seeing the people's support for the government in Navakerala Sadas, there is some change in them too. Even though the facts are not correct, Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman also had to come to Kerala and say 'We are giving Kerala everything it needs' because of public support.

When the LDF came to power again in 2021, the UDF lost their ground. Their position is that they will not allow any development activities to be implemented. Kerala will move forward by overcoming these kinds of malicious activities. The Chief Minister said that we are preparing New Kerala for the state and the people, not based on party politics, religion or caste.
