Man attacks pledger with steel pipe for demanding return of bike, gets arrested

KAYAMKULAM: The man accused of attempting to kill a person, by hitting on his head with a steel pipe after he demanded the return of his pledged bike, has been arrested. The arrested has been identified as Mohammad Aseem (30) of Vadakkathil House in Pullikanakku in Krishnapuram. Mukesh, a native of Kayamkulam Pullikanakku, is the victim of the attack.

Mohammad Aseem attacked Mukesh on the road on the east side of the Randam Kutti junction at around 3 pm on December 5. The accused was arrested by a team consisting of SI Sreekumar, officers Vishnu, Anu, Arun and Sabish under the leadership of Kayamkulam CI Muhammad Shafi. He was produced in court and remanded.
