Anupama's notebook contains plans to abduct children; investigation team releases new evidence

KOLLAM: The police team investigating the Oyoor child abduction case has released new evidence regarding the case. The investigation team revealed that the accused had attempted to kidnap more children and had made plans for it.

The police have received documents confirming this. The investigation team added that they have received documents of the plans devised by the accused to kidnap children from the notebook of accused Anupama. This is proof of the fact that the accused had targeted several children.


The investigation team said that the accused were not cooperating with the interrogation. According to the police, Padmakumar, Anithakumari and Anupama have not been giving proper answers to many of the questions asked during the interrogation.

On Thursday. the Kottarakkara Magistrate Court had sent the accused to the custody of the investigation team for seven days. The investigation team is conducting the interrogation by comparing the statements of the accused with the existing evidence.
