NEW DELHI: Online shopping is quite popular these days as people try to get goods at a much cheaper rate than offline shops. However, there is a downside to online shopping- frauds that are associated with it. Incidents of people receiving products entirely different to the advertised goods are quite common. Now, a vlogger named Vidur Sirohi has undergone a similar ordeal and the incident is being widely discussed on social media.
Vidur ordered an iPhone 15 on Flipkart, but to his shock received a 'Pears' soap instead. The product was ordered through Flipkart on November 16. He was supposed to get the delivery on the next day, which didn't happen. The delivery was then extended to November 18. The customer was not there that day and the delivery was scheduled for November 22.
He didn't get the product delivered on that day and complained the same to Flipkart. Following this, the delivery boy arrived on the next day. On opening the package, Vidur realized he was scammed. He shared his experience through an Instagram page called 'bhookajaat'. Vidur Sirohi also alleged that Flipkart is yet to resolve his problem and is disappointed with the service.
