BHOPAL: Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav has announced two crucial orders including the ban on the sale of meat in the open. The first order of the new chief minister was to ban the use of loudspeakers in public places and places of worship. Following this, the open sale of meat in public places was also banned.
Chief Minister Mohan Yadav explained that in the first cabinet meeting, various issues of the state were discussed and among these, the sale of meat in the open was considered a problem and ordered to be banned. Mohan Yadav (58) took over as the Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh after the country's most experienced BJP Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan stepped down.
Mohan Yadav, the MLA from Dakshina Ujjain, former education minister and OBC leader, was chosen by the party for the post of chief minister, almost two weeks after the election results. Jagdish Deora and Rajesh Shukla are the Deputy Chief Ministers. Union Minister Narendra Singh Tomar has been appointed as the Assembly Speaker.
