Oscar winning Parasite actor Lee Sun-Kyun found dead in car

SEOUL: South Korean actor Lee Sun-Kyun (48) has been found dead. He was found dead inside a car at a park in central Seoul. Initial reports said that it is a case of suicide.
Lee Sun Kyun best known for his role in the Oscar winning film Parasite released in 2020. Lee had been under police surveillance for some time over his alleged use of drugs. According to reports, Lee was recently banned from film and television programmes after being caught in a drug case.


He last acted in the horror film 'Sleep' released this year. The police had questioned him in connection with the drug case last October. He told the media that he sincerely apologizes for causing great disappointment to many. Lee is married to actress Jeon Hye Jin and have two sons.
