THRISSUR: Paramekkavu Devaswom is planning to organize a mini Pooram for Prime Minister Narendra Modi during his visit to Mahila Sangam in Thrissur on January 3. G Rajesh, Secretary of Paramekkavu Devaswom mentioned that while a final decision hasn't been made, discussions have commenced regarding this event. They aim to arrange a Kudamattam featuring 15 elephants and a chendamelam involving 200 instrumentalists.
It remains uncertain if the Prime Minister's roadshow will pass through Paramekkavu. The current plan is for the roadshow to proceed through Thekkinkadu from St. Thomas Road. However, there's a possibility of altering the route should Paramekkavu opt to arrange a mini Pooram. Notably, a Pooram was organized previously when the Pope visited Thrissur.
