BENGALURU: A man stunned everyone by chopping off his left forefinger as a sacrifice to Goddess Kali praying for Prime Minister Narendra Modi's third term in office. It was Arun Varnekar, a resident of Karwar, who made the astounding offering in prayer for Narendra Modi.
After chopping off his finger with a machete, Arun used the blood to write 'Kali Devi Save Modi' on his home's wall. An enormous admirer of Modi, Arun had previously constructed a temple in his home. He routinely offers special prayers at this temple.
According to Arun, India's relationship with neighbouring countries has improved ever since Modi came to power. He also said that the nation can progress only under the leadership of Modi.
Meanwhile, it is suspected that Arun may have accidentally chopped off his finger while trying to draw blood from the finger as a prayer to Goddess Kali. Although Arun's family rushed him to the hospital with a severed finger, the doctors said that it was not possible to fix the finger.
