THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: KB Ganesh Kumar and Kadanapalli Ramachandran were sworn in as ministers adhering to the Left Front's decision. Governor Arif Muhammad Khan presided over the ceremony at Raj Bhavan administering the oath to both ministers.
Following the reshuffle, Minister Ganesh Kumar secured the transport department, consistent with prior agreements although the film department request was unmet. Kadannapalli Ramachandran on the other hand didn't receive the port department which remains under the purview of Ahmed Devarkovil. Instead, he has been entrusted with the department of registration, museum and archeology.
Additionally, Minister VN Vasavan has been assigned the extra responsibility of overseeing ports alongside cooperation.
The recent portfolio allocations finalized the ministerial roles in the state, adhering to the prior decisions of the Left Front. Previously, Antony Raju and Ahmed Devarkovil had resigned, paving the way for KB Ganesh Kumar of Kerala Congress B and Kadannapally Ramachandran of Congress S to assume their positions.
