NEW DELHI: Aam Aadmi leaders said Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal is likely to be arrested today by the ED in the liquor scam case. Kejriwal had refused to appear for questioning in the Delhi liquor corruption case. Aam Aadmi leaders informed on social media that there will be a raid at the chief minister's residence today and most probably he will be arrested.
The Aam Aadmi Party leaders also informed that the party is ready to face any situation. The ED had summoned Kejriwal several times for questioning in the ongoing money laundering case along with the liquor scam case. However, ED sources said they did not get any more information. A raid will be conducted at Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal's house this morning and he is likely to be arrested, said Aam Aadmi leaders.
Senior leaders like Saurabh Bhardwaj, Jasmin Shah and Sandeep Pathak shared about it on X. The ED had summoned Kejriwal thrice for interrogation, but he failed to appear. Kejriwal did not appear for questioning on November 2 and December 21. In this situation, he can be arrested on a non-bailable warrant as per law.
