Actress Shwetha Menon took to social media to urge her followers and other Indians to support Indian tourism. The actress' post came amid India-Maldives issues.
"We believe in Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam – the world as one family. But when it comes to my country, it’s my emotional side. You can’t insult us and still expect our tourism revenue. So, let’s explore our country and magnetic places like Lakshadweep & Andaman. I request all my fans and fellow Indians to #ExploreIndianIslands and support our local tourism. India has so much to offer, and I am proud to be an Indian," she wrote on Facebook.
Earlier, Unni Mukundan also came out in support of Indian tourism. Sharing Modi's picture from Lakshadweep, Unni wrote, 'Lakshadweep has also been added to my bucket list'.
