THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: KS Aravind, Senior Reporter of Kerala Kaumudi Thiruvananthapuram Unit, has been named the recipient of KGIMA's award for the best journalist in the field of health. KGIMA is the only association of ESI doctors working under the state government
Association state president Dr Vinod P.K and general secretary Dr S. Radhakrishnan said that Minister V Sivankutty will present the award constituting ten thousand rupees and a certificate at a ceremony in Thiruvananthapuram.
Aravind was chosen for the award considering the excellence of the news articles published in Kerala Kaumudi related to the field of health in the last year. Aravind is the son of Pachalloor native S.Suma. The award for visual media will be presented to Nripan Chakravarthy, Senior Reporter of Kairali News.
