VIRUDHUNAGAR: 'Victory, it will happen...' Radhika Sarathkumar was speaking at a party meeting at the BJP district committee office premises in Virudhunagar. Accompanying her is ‘supreme star’ Sarathkumar, Radhika’s husband.

“It is only through failures that we can achieve success. Such was the example rolled out by BJP, the party now ruling India”, says Radhika, the erstwhile dame of Tamil movies. Radhika attained massive popularity in Kerala for her stunning role as political leader Ragini Raghavan in Dileep starrer 'Rama Leela'. Akin to her role in the film, Radhika arrived in the city amidst chanting supporters.

Radhika describes Sarathkumar as ‘ En Nattamai”; The word is churned out from Sarathkuamr’s eponymous movie ‘Nattamai’ which created waves in the Tamil industry.

“I saw women working in factories. Most of their hands were dirty, while some others had arrack stains. People including children are drinking contaminated water. Most husbands here are addicted to alcohol and are ruining their lives. What a fate this is!

As someone from your family, I am telling you, that you people deserve better lives. This land should witness development and good things should happen. As a leader, I can assure you better lives” Radhika continued amidst big applause from the crowds.

Virudhunagar, the birthplace of former CM of Madras state, Kamaraj, will this time witness a star-studded fight. Late Vijayakanth's son and actor Vijay Prabhakaran is a DMDK candidate. Sitting MP B Manikyam Tagore is the Congress candidate.

Radhika and Sarathkumar later spoke to Kerala Kaumudi:

What is your assessment as of now?

Radhika: We are working… success will follow.

Why BJP?

They are a national party, working tirelessly for development, and doing good for the country. Why not BJP?

Is the main rival DMK or ADMK?

I am not thinking about opponents; my eyes are fixated just on success.

How many seats will NDA win?

Sarathkumar: Will win 40 seats in Tamil Nadu and Puducherry.

Will BJP taste success in Kerala?

A silent revolution is happening in Kerala. The results will be out soon.
