Two fatally run over by train in Kasargod

KASARGOD: Two people were killed after a train ran them over at Pallom in Kasargod. The two dead have not been identified. The bodies of two males were found near the railway track. It is suspected that they were hit by a goods train. The incident happened Tuesday morning around 5.20 am.

The police reached the place and completed the inquest procedures. The bodies have been shifted to the hospital. An investigation has been initiated into the incident.

The bodies were found in an examination by the railway police after informed by the loco pilot. One body was found on the track and the other near it.

Meantime, two mobile phones stolen from migrant workers staying nearby were found from them.
