Caressed woman inside KSRTC Swift bus; Malappuram native arrested

MALAPPURAM: A youngster was detained from a KSRTC bus for molesting a fellow passenger. Malappuram Parappur native Harris was arrested in the incident by Vazhikkadavu police.

The incident took place in a bus that was heading towards Thiruvananthapuram from Ooty. The accused boarded the bus from Gudalur and carefully took the seat behind the victim. He then started caressing the woman’s posterior with his legs. This provoked her to turn back and question the indecency. It is alleged that when questioned, the culprit showed sexual innuendos and sleazy expressions which made the woman complain to the conductor about the incident.

The conductor then informed Vazhikkadavu police about the incident, and Harris was taken into custody when the bus reached Nilambur. According to police, Harris is a history sheeter, earlier found guilty in three cases.
