KSRTC bus conductor, wife found dead mysteriously at two locations

KOLLAM: A couple were found dead mysteriously on Saturday in two separate places. The incident happened in the Kollam Avaneeswaram region. Punalur KSRTC depot conductor Vijeesh and his wife Raji are the deceased. According to preliminary police findings, it is doubted that both might have consumed poison to end their life.

38-year-old Raji, a resident of Avaneeswaram Meenamkode Colony in Kunnikode, ended her life after jumping in front of a minibus at 11:00 pm on Friday. The incident took place in front of Avaneeswaram railway station. At this time, it was reported that Vijeesh had gone missing.

A detailed search later found Vijeesh hanging near the Ayiravalli River Rock viewpoint. The police got a suicide note from the house indicating financial liability. A file containing documents and a mobile phone were found near Vijesh's dead body. Relatives allege that there is a mystery in the death.
