Two-year-old walks home alone from daycare without knowledge of authorities leaving family and locals shocked

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: A two-year-old boy shocked his family by walking home alone for two kilometres from daycare. The said boy is Sudheesh and Archana's son Ankit.

The incident took place on Monday in Nemom's Kakkamoola. The daycare authorities were unaware that the child had left. CCTV footage of the incident has been released. The footage shows the child going home scared and crying.

Reports are coming out that the family has filed a complaint with the police after collecting the CCTV footage. As the parents were going to work, the child was sent to a daycare which was about two kilometres away. The fact that Ankit, who is only two years and four months old, walked such a long distance alone has caused both surprise and concern among the locals.
