Abdul Salim held while secretly working in hollow bricks firm after months long probe 

arrest

PALAKKAD: An accused, who was on the run for two years in a drug case, was arrested by the excise. He was arrested for possessing 189.5 kg of ganja and 308 grams of hashish oil from Palode area of Mannarkkad. Abdul Salim alias Sali was arrested by the investigation team.


He was secretly working at Miracle Hollow Bricks at Puravi Palayam in Tamil Nadu. After months of investigation, with the help of excise cyber cell, a team led by Palakkad Assistant Excise Commissioner M Sooraj arrested him from Tamil Nadu.


Civil excise officers Shiju, Yasser Arafath, Rajesh and driver Rahul were in the team. The accused produced before the Mannarkkad Judicial Magistrate Court has been remanded.
