Ambulance in CM's convoy collides with car, five injured

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Five people were injured when an ambulance in the CM's convoy collided with a car. The accident happened near Placheri in Manimala on the way from Ernakulam to Thiruvananthapuram. The ambulance came after the escort vehicles passed behind the Chief Minister's vehicle.

The car coming from the opposite side collided with the ambulance. Five people who were passengers in the car were injured and admitted to a private hospital in Kanjirapalli.

The injured were identified as Thomas, Ranimol, Mini, five-year-old Juan and six-year-old Ivan, all natives of Karimbanakulam. As per the hospital sources, their injuries are not serious.
