Suresh Gopi in Thrissur for first time after candidate announcement; receives huge reception

THRISSUR: Actor and BJP leader Suresh Gopi has started preparations for the campaign after the announcement of the candidate. Suresh Gopi was given a grand welcome by BJP workers at the roadshow held at Swaraj Round in Thrissur. Suresh Gopi said 'What is going on in Thrissur is not a war, but a protest'.

He added that the reception of the activists is enthusiastic and there is hope for success. Suresh Gopi reached the Swaraj Round accompanied by a Bike Rally from the railway station. BJP has decided to campaign with road shows in various places from tomorrow.

There were earlier reports that Suresh Gopi will be BJP's candidate for the Lok Sabha elections in Thrissur. Earlier there was graffiti and campaigns. BJP had released the official list of candidates last day. This is the first time Suresh Gopi is coming to Thrissur after the announcement of the candidate.
