Plus two student dies in accident at bridge on Thalassery-Mahe bypass

KANNUR: An 18-year-old plus two student died after falling down from the bridge on the Thalassery-Mahe bypass. The dead is Nidal, a resident of Thottummal. Nidal is a student of St Joseph Higher Secondary School in Thalassery. The incident happened last night.

Nidal came to visit the bypass inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi via video conference. The accident happened after he tried to jump the gap between the bridge. He was taken to the hospital immediately but his life could not be saved.
