Citizenship Amendment Act: Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan with questions for Congress

pinarayi-

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan asked why the Congress All India leadership did not officially respond to the implementation of the Citizenship Amendment Act. He also asked in the statement whether it can be denied that only the CPM MP from Kerala voted against the amendment of the law targeting minorities.

Pinarayi Vijayan also raised other questions.

  • Why did the AICC president evade the questions?
  • Why the silence on the Citizenship Amendment Act in Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra?
  • Where was Rahul Gandhi in December 2019 when the agitation against the Citizenship Amendment Bill broke out?
  • Why did he not present his position in Parliament when the bill was introduced and immediately after?
  • Why did the Congress not take the initiative to form a broad coalition against the BJP government on this issue?
  • Wasn't the Congress withdrawing from the concerted protests against the Citizenship Amendment Act in Kerala to reduce the strength of the struggle?
  • To please whom was a disciplinary sword drawn against local leaders who participated in strikes?
  • Was it not the left who stood with the victims during the Delhi riots? Wasn't Congress silent at that stage when Sangh Parivar criminals hunted minorities?
  • Wasn't the NIA Amendment Bill passed in Parliament by Congress and BJP together?
