Kalamandalam Gopi’s son levels allegations against Suresh Gopi

THRISSUR: Reghu Gurukripa, son of famous Kathakali artist Kalamandalam Gopi, made a scathing attack on Thrissur NDA candidate Suresh Gopi. He came forward via a Facebook post alleging that a famous doctor had called him and tried to influence his father for Suresh Gopi.

The doctor said Gopi Asan should bless Suresh Gopi and that he would come home for that. Reghu's note said that when he refused it, the doctor asked him whether they don’t want Padma Bhushan. Gopi Asan had commented below the post that he doesn’t want like that.

The note said many VIPs are trying to influence his father and all should understand that this Gopi is not that Gopi. All have politics. The post said that it is not for temporary profit and is deeply rooted in the chest. He deleted the post after it stoked a controversy.

Meantime, Suresh Gopi has come forward with an explanation. He responded that he had not asked anyone to call Kalamandalam Gopi and that the party had not entrusted anyone.
