Collision between car and bus; five-year-old girl meets tragic end

KUMILY: Pilgrim group's car returning after the Malayattoor pilgrimage collided with a KSRTC bus. A five-year-old girl in the pilgrim group died and five others were injured.

Aami Elsa, daughter of Abi and Amalu, Kattezhath house Cumbummettu Achakkada, is the one who had the tragic fate. Abi who was driving the car, his wife Amalu, their son Aidan, and Abi's parents Thankachan and Molly, were seriously injured. They were admitted to a private hospital in Kattappana. The accident happened at Chettukuzhi near Vandanmedu around 7 am on Sunday. The car hit a bus going from Kambam to Kattappana

Aami was an LKG student at Vandanmedu Mar Ivanios Public School.
