71-year-old man dies when hit by crane while going home

PALA: An old man died after hit by a crane at Kadappattoor bypass in Pala, Kottayam. The dead is 71-year-old man Kelappanal Ouseppachan of Kadappattoor. The accident happened Monday morning at 8.15 am in front of Grameenam Swashraya Sangham on the bypass.

The crane hit Ouseppachan when he was going home after having tea. The crane ran over his head after he fell down. His head was shattered to pieces. Transportation was restored after Pala Police and Fire Force team reached the spot, cleaned the road and tyres of the vehicle.
