CJM court to consider assembly ruckus case today

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The Thiruvananthapuram Chief Judicial Magistrate Court will consider the assembly ruckus case today. The court accepted the defendant’s plea that all the documents were not provided after further investigation in the case. The court had directed the prosecution to produce if there is a dispute in this plea. This will be considered today.


The magistrate had directed the defendant to inform the court that if there are any errors in the documents provided by the crime branch. According to this, the defendant claimed that some documents and testimonies are missing from examining the records.

Minister V Sivankutty, LDF leaders E P Jayarajan, K T Jaleel, K Ajith, K Kunjahammed and C K Sadasivan are the accused in the case. The police case is that a loss of Rs 2.20 lakhs was incurred in the attack from preventing the then finance minister K M Mani presenting the budget.
