Murdered TTE Vinod acted in movies, another oncoming train ran over his body after he fell on tracks

THRISSUR: Vinod, a TTE who was pushed from Patna Express and killed by a migrant worker, is also a film actor. Vinod has acted in small roles in more than 14 films like Pulimurugan and Gangster. Vinod was killed by Rajinikanth, a migrant worker from Odisha.

An argument broke out between the two regarding tickets. Vinod entered duty from Thrissur at 6:30 pm. The accused also boarded the train from Thrissur. Vinod was pushed from the train and fell onto tracks and an oncoming train ran over his body. He is a native of Manjummel in Ernakulam.

The incident took place in Velappaya in Thrissur.

The accused was arrested by the Palakkad Railway Police. The police say that the accused is a regular alcoholic. Currently, Rajinikanth is in the custody of the Railway Police.
