Why did Naveen and Devi choose 'Honeymoon Valley', 3748 km away, as their 'final destination'? Police probing their 10-day whereabouts

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The police have started an investigation focusing on Naveen in the death of three Malayalis in Arunachal Pradesh. Investigation revealed that Naveen and Devi had travelled to Ziro in Arunachal Pradesh a year and a half ago as well without telling their family members.

After the couple went missing, Devi's family started an investigation. The couple later left the house after the family inquired about these things. Devi, who has been living in Naveen's house in Kottayam for a year, was not in touch with her parents. Naveen and Devi had also quit their jobs as Ayurvedic doctors to start a farmhouse.

The police are investigating the whereabouts of Devi and Naveen who left their home in Kottayam on March 17. Arya went missing from Thiruvananthapuram on March 27. Naveen and Devi took a room in the hotel saying that Arya is their daughter. All three stayed in the same room for five days.

It is not clear why they chose Ziro, a place 3748 km away from Thiruvananthapuram, to die. Ziro is a border village and is also known as Honeymoon Valley,

The three generally were not close with anyone. Arya used to constantly get marriage proposals from home but rejected everything on Devi's suggestion. Finally, she agreed to a marriage at the insistence of her parents. The police will also check the involvement of anyone else in their group.
