Surface parking and toll gates will be free of charge during Eid Al Fitr

ABU DHABI: The Integrated Transport Centre (ITC) of Abu Dhabi Municipality and the Department of Transport (DMT) has announced transport concessions for people in Abu Dhabi as part of Eid celebrations. The Eid holidays are from April 8 to April 14. The department informed that people who are out with their vehicles during this period will not have to pay parking fees and toll. The department has also announced the transport services on holidays. Relaxations are applicable to non-residents.

The officials have informed that customers happy centres will be closed on holidays. Customers can apply for ITC travel services through ITC website, DARB website and apps. You can apply for the government's digital services through the TAMM platform and the app. Apart from this one can also seek help from DMT's Unified Service Support Centre which is open round the clock.

MAWAQiF surface parking fees will be free of charge from April 8th to April 15. ITC has requested the vehicle owners to avoid parking their vehicles in prohibited areas and obstructing the traffic. ITC has requested drivers to park only in designated areas and avoid parking in residential areas from 9 pm to 8 am. Meantime, the authorities informed that no toll should be paid at the Darb toll gate on Eid holiday.

The Department of Transport said bus services will be increased during holidays. Abu Dhabi Express and 'Abu Dhabi Link' bus services will operate from 6 am to 11 pm.
