Accused who insulted foreign woman during Thrissur Pooram arrested

THRISSUR: Accused arrested for insulting a foreign woman during Thrissur Pooram. Suresh (Madhu), a native of Alathur, was arrested. He was taken into custody by Alathur police and later handed over to Thrissur East police.

A foreign woman who participated in the Thrissur Pooram had revealed her bad experience in a video posted on her Instagram account. It is alleged that a person groped her when she was seeking responses at Sreemoolasthanam. Although no complaint was received in the incident, the police conducted an investigation on the basis of the video.

The incident took place when the foreign woman, a vlogger, was seeking the response of the Thrissur Pooram from people. This is a vlogger who had previously posted a video saying that Kerala is the safest place in India. On Instagram, she posted a video of young people singing as the best experience of 2024 and another video as the worst experience. She revealed that she was humiliated in the video where she talked about the worst experience. In the video, he can be seen touching the foreign woman without her permission and he says, "I'm gonna do one kiss". The video was posted with English subtitles of the conversation. He is also seen being pushed away by the foreign woman.
