'People of Vadakara can't send anyone away by mocking them, go back with a smile teacher'; KK Rema tells Shailaja

While UDF candidate Shafi Parabil is all set to register a victory in the Vadakara Lok Sabha constituency, RMP leader and MLA KK Rema has written an open message to KK Shailaja, the LDF candidate in the constituency. Taking to her Facebook page, Rema stated that the people of Vadakara will bid farewell to Shailaja by holding her close.

'Return without wiping that smile from your face, teacher. This is a land that holds together dead people and defeated people. This is a land where everything that was severed was stitched together. The good people of this land cannot cannot send anyone away by mocking them. They can bid farewell to a person only by holding him/her close. Isn't it lucky to be able to return with the hope that there is still Vadakara where we can compete by talking about politics... Vadakara is still here and one can return to this land with the hope that human beings would prevail here, not religion,' KK Rema wrote.

Political experts had predicted a strong fight between the LDF and UDF in Vadakara, However, UDF candidate Shafi Parambil won the upper hand in the constituency right from the start of the counting of votes. Shafi now has a majority of 72569 votes.
