NEW DELHI: Prime Minister Narendra Modi congratulated the NDA leaders who were elected to the 18th Lok Sabha. He said that in the next ten years, the NDA government will try for good governance, development and minimal interference in the lives of common people.

Modi said that NDA has seen a new rise in South India. "In Karnataka and Telangana, where the NDA has no power, people have accepted the Front in the Lok Sabha elections. The NDA alliance did not get a seat from Tamil Nadu but there is a very strong system there. The vote share has increased there", Modi said.

Without mentioning Suresh Gopi's name, Modi also highlighted his victory in Kerala at the NDA meeting. "Many party workers became martyrs in Kerala. It was more difficult for party workers to work there than in Jammu and Kashmir. We have won there too. We got a representative from Kerala to Lok Sabha," he added.

"I see 2024 Lok Sabha results as a grand victory for NDA but opposition tried to reject our victory. The opposition tried to spread lies, making false promises and even after 10 years, the Congress could not win 100 seats," he said.

Modi also said that NDA stands for new India, developed India, and aspirational India. He also praised other leaders in the alliance.
