The Lok Sabha election results were out on June 4. Actor and former MP Suresh Gopi won from Thrissur with a margin of over 70,000 votes.

After the win of Suresh Gopi, actress Nimisha Sajayan is being cyberattacked. The attack was on some things the actress said four years ago. The actress had then said ‘When asked, we didn’t even give Thrissur and it is to us is they are asking India.’

Minister V Sivankutty came forward supporting the actress facing cyber-attacks. He has expressed his support by sharing the actress’ picture on Facebook.

‘This is the standard of Sangh Parivar…Kerala has faced their cyber-attack...with Nimisha Sajayan..."; he penned after sharing her picture on Facebook.

Suresh Gopi’s son and actor Gokul Suresh said that he is sad on the cyberattacks against Nimisha. Gokul added that Nimisha’s remarks about his father was without even thinking that he is her colleague.

If Nimisha is worried about it, me and my father are not happy about it. Maybe Nimisha would have been happy when she said it then. It is a different view and mind of people. My father had never hated Nimisha or spoken bad about her.

Nimisha felt like saying so then. However, when a video like this comes against Nimisha, my father does not encourage it. My father's question is why people are doing this to her,’ said Gokul.
