Drunk youth kills brother in Kayamkulam

KAYAMKULAM: A youth stabbed his younger brother to death under the influence of alcohol. The dead is Saddique of Randamkutty Laksham Veedu Colony. Saddique was stabbed last night and he died Tuesday early morning.

Saddique’s brother Shajahan has been taken into custody in connection with the incident. Police said that a verbal dispute breaks out between the two quite often while consuming liquor together. The same happened yesterday and in a fit of rage, Shajahan stabbed his brother.

Seriously injured Saddique was first rushed to a hospital in Kayamkulam and later to Vandanam Medical College. His life could not be saved and died this morning.
