Woman dies of heart attack after seeing body of grandson, who lost life after getting stuck in remote controlled gate

MALAPPURAM: A 55-year-old woman died of heart attack after seeing the body of her grandson Muhammed Sinan, who lost his life after getting stuck in the remote-controlled gate. She has been identified as Aziya (55) of Chenganakattil Kunnasseri. Sinan is the son of Aziya’ eldest son Abdul Gafoor.

Sinan, who went to the mosque to offer prayers was found stuck in the automatic gate of their neighbor and also their relative. He was immediately rushed to a private hospital in Kottakkal but his life could not be saved.

His body is lying in the hospital itself. Aziya wanted to see the body of her grandson. She suffered a chest pain while going to see the body and was taken to the hospital but her life could not be saved.


Muhammed Sinan was a fourth-class student of Tirur AET English Medium School. Sajila is Sinan’s mother. The body will be handed over to his relatives after postmortem at Manjeri Medical College.
