South film industry's 'ideal couple' heading for divorce? Fans in disbelief

As per news reports, divorce cases have increased significantly within the Indian film industry. GV Prakash Kumar-Saindhavi, Dileep-Manju Warrier, Manoj K Jayan-Urvashi, and Dhanush-Aishwarya Rajinikanth, are some of the popular artists in south India to get separated from their partners in recent times.

There were also some unconfirmed reports clouding actor Vijay and his purported dissonance with his wife Sangeetha. And now, one more name has made it into the list from the rumour factory, Tamil’s favourite actor Jayam Ravi is doubted to be going through a tough phase in his marital life.

Jayam Ravi married Aarti in 2009 and is often praised by fans for being an 'Ideal couple’. Minding the 'ideal couple' tag, most fans were in disbelief hearing the rumours spread through social media. With the news spiraling out of control, Aarti in an implicit retort shared an Instagram story of Jayam Ravi’s debut movie anniversary. The movie 'Jayam' which was released 21 years ago is considered a cult romantic film in the Tamil movie industry. This movie helped lead actor Ravi to take a leap in his career while the movie name also got into his prefix.

With the Instagram story from Aarti, the rumours have slowly started to fade but in some quarters of the industry, the talk remains.
