NSS presents annual budget of Rs 157.55 crore

CHANGANASSERY: NSS General Secretary G Sukumaran Nair on Saturday presented the annual budget of the NSS with an emphasis on infrastructure development. The budget envisages an income and expenditure of Rs 157.55 crore for the organisation. Last year, the NSS presented a budget of Rs 132 crore.

Importance will be given to new working women's hostels, improvement of physical conditions in schools and colleges, renovation and maintenance of other buildings and ensuring preservation of properties. The budget meeting was held after offering floral tributes at the Mannam Samadhi. President Dr. M. Sasikumar presided over the meeting.
