From a monthly salary of Rs 1500 to an income of Rs 36 crore; one app changed Ashfaq's life 

Several people in our society have attained success by overcoming adversity and going forward with confidence. The lives of such people are an inspiration to the common people. Mumbai native Ashfaq Chunawala is one such person who changed his life through courage, determination and hard work.

Ashfaq, who earned Rs 1,500 per month in 2004 while working at a retail store, is today a businessman with a turnover of Rs 36 crore. He got to this point by driving and renting cars through an app called Ride-Hailing. This 37-year-old currently owns 400 cabs. He says that the number of cabs will increase to 500 very soon.

After finishing Class 10, Ashfaq had to drop out of his studies to support his family. He then started working in shops. Ashfaq, who had several desires in his mind, did many jobs. He eventually became the manager of a store selling clothing and skin care products. However, the income from this was not enough to take care of his family. That was when he realized that he was drowning in debt every day.

In 2013, Ashfaq came across an advertisement for the app called Ride-Hailing by chance. This ad turned out to be a turning point in his life. Ashfaq first joined as a part-time driver in the company and later bought a small car. He simultaneously carried on working in the store and as a driver. Thus he began to earn Rs 35,000 per month from the store and Rs 15,000 per month as a driver.

Later, he bought a second car with the help of his sister. As his income increased, he took a loan from the bank to buy three more cars. He then began depositing a portion of his earnings and eventually came to own 400 cars. Today, Ashfaq is able to give courage to many people who are struggling due to financial constraints. He points out his own life as an example to all of them.

Ashfaq said that he had faced several setbacks during his journey to success. The Covid period was a testing time. Fortunately, he was able to move forward without losing before any of it.
