KUZHITHURAI: Tamil Nadu Police said that an SI of the Kerala Police had received information about Deepu's murder beforehand. This was revealed when Sunilkumar was questioned. When Ambili said that he was going to commit murder, Sunil stopped the vehicle between Neyyatinkara and Amaravila. He went out saying he wanted to urinate and informed his acquaintance SI. The SI instructed to drive the vehicle to the nearest police station immediately. Sunil's statement is that he did not do so because he thought his life would be in danger. When asked why he did not inform the station after dropping Ambili at Kaliyakkavilai, Sunil replied that he was too drunk. The police did not believe this. They will contact the Kerala Police soon to clarify this.

Chloroform belongs to Deepu; only five lakhs in vehicle

Ambili testified that on the 23rd, Deepu gave an advance of three lakh rupees to commit murder. He told Ambili that he can call from another number and not to call him. The police clarified the statement of Ambili, who was in remand, after reaching the jail. When Ambili got into the car, Deepu smelled the chloroform he was carrying. After that, Ambili killed Deepu by slitting his throat. After the murder, Ambili went looking for Sunilkumar's car.

He finally reached the nearby medical shop and told the staff that he wanted to call his wife and called Sunil Kumar from their phone. The phone was switched off. After deleting Sunilkumar's number from the phone, he asked for a lift on a bike and reached Kaliyakkavilai. From there he took an autorickshaw to his house. Rs.1,200 was paid as auto fare. Deepu's phone, which was taken from the car, was thrashed and thrown in a stream near the house. After that, he handed over the bag containing Rs 5 lakh to his wife. Ambili told the police that there was Rs 5 lakh in the bag.

Gangster friends

Sunilkumar likes to hang out with gangsters. For that, he will quickly become friends with these people. Sunil has also stated that he met Ambili a year and a half ago through his brother. It is reported that the phone numbers of many gangsters have been found from Sunil's phone.
