What if oceans dry up one day? Researchers make interesting findings

oceans

About 70 percent of the Earth is oceans and studies have shown that 97 percent of the planet's water is in the oceans. What will happen to the world if all these oceans dry up one day? During the Last Glacial Maximum, about 19,000 to 26,000 years ago, the ocean was 410 feet lower than it is today. The oldest human footprints have been found during this Last Glacial Maximum period. During this period of heavy snowfall, sea levels went lower in various continents, from Antarctica to Greenland and from the northern part of North America to Europe.

Ice was formed like a bridge connecting the continents and some of today's island nations. This also caused our ancestors to migrate to different countries. It has been found that humans have migrated and settled in Europe, UK, Alaska and Russia.

NASA scientist Dr. Horace Mitchell portrayed the state of the earth back then through an animation in 2008. A researcher at the Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency and a former NASA scientist, Dr. James O'Donoghue later produced a slightly improved version of this. In this way it has been possible to study the nature of the ocean floor. About 6000 feet of sea area has dried up nowadays.

Despite this, the researchers say that the ocean will not dry up or the earth will not have a problem like this in the near future. But we can study the challenges faced by humans during that time, and also about migration history.
