KARWAR: The Karnataka police directed the Malayali rescue team, who came to search for Arjun of Kozhikode, who went missing along with his lorry in the landslide, to return. The police directed many including Ranjith Israel to go back. Only the army is enough in the place and directed the others to leave the place in half an hour. The search for Arjun continues on the seventh day.

An 18-member team from Kozhikode arrived in Karnataka to partake in the rescue operations. 18 belonging to voluntary organizations like Ente Mukkam, Karma Omassery and Pulparambu Raksha Sena left to the accident site at 2 am today. They also took along with them the boat, scuba diving set and rope.

It was heard that there was an indication of the presence of metal in the search using the deep search detector earlier. The presence of metal was found in the same area where Arjun's mobile signal was received earlier. Uttara Kannada District Collector Lakshmi Priya had earlier told the media that even as the search for Arjun enters the seventh day, there is 99 percent no chance that the lorry will be on the land.

The vehicle is likely to be in the Gangavali River. Some unclear signals have been received. It has not been confirmed yet. The collector also said the footage of the accident site ten minutes before the landslide will be available today.
