Kerala Police launches 'Pol Blood' for blood donation and emergencies, here is how to avail services

Kerala Police have launched an online service named 'Pol Blood' for blood donation and to get blood. The public can now avail this service for blood in emergencies.

"Pol Blood is an initiative of the Kerala Police to provide blood to the needy. You can also avail Kerala Police's online service 'Pol Blood' for blood emergencies.

The works are done with the help of Pol-App, the mobile application of the Kerala Police. Anyone can become a member of Pol Blood, which works in association with the Kerala State AIDS Control Society.

Download Pol-App from Playstore to register to donate and get blood. Select the Pol Blood category in the app. Fill the donor registration form to donate blood. Those who need blood fill the recipient form. Once the registration is complete you will be contacted from the control room.

Blood is not only for emergencies, we should do blood donation. So far, with the help of the public, the Kerala Police has been able to deliver around twenty thousand units of blood to the needy.

This service can be run smoothly only if you donate blood," Kerala Police's Facebook post reads.
