Numerology helped Thushar win big; 33 crore to the account of the Indian expatriate

ABU DHABI: In the latest Big Ticket draw, an Indian expatriate living in Abu Dhabi, Thushar Deshkar, won a prize of Rs 33 crore. Thushar, a believer in astrology, purchased the winning ticket based on numerology. Knowing that his lucky number was three, Thushar consistently bought tickets featuring that number. This time, his persistence paid off.

Thushar, who moved to Abu Dhabi in 2019, bought the ticket along with three friends. He has been participating in the Big Ticket draws for the past two years. Thushar, currently seeking a job as a technical consultant in a private company, expressed his surprise at the unexpected windfall.

"I came to Abu Dhabi in 2019 with three friends who worked with me in India. We decided to try our luck together and have been buying Big Tickets for the last two years. This time, luck favoured us," Thushar said.

The winning ticket, number 334240, was purchased as part of a buy-two-get-one-free offer. Thushar explained that he relies on numerology and astrology to choose his ticket numbers.

"I chose a few numbers based on numerology and astrology, believing that they would bring me luck. My lucky number is three, and I sought the help of numerology to select the right digits. This method didn't work last time, but it did this time. Sometimes it feels like a coincidence; sometimes, it feels like God's plan," Thushar reflected.

With the prize money, Thushar plans to pay off debts and provide a better life for his family. Despite his big win, Thushar intends to continue participating in the Big Ticket draws, hoping that his lucky streak will continue.
