THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Question 1. What does Yajna mean? actor Indrans had no doubts seeing the first question for 7th standard Malayalam equivalency examination conducted by the Kerala State Literacy Mission Authority. The second question also came easily for the actor. 68-year-old Indrans appeared for the 7th class examination on Saturday and remarked the exams as ‘easy’.

The actor appeared for the language exams at Attakulangara School on Saturday. While Malayalam and English went fine, the actor struggled in front of Hindi. The difficulty was the syllables. The duty teacher read out the question to Indrans which helped the actor understand the meaning.

“Due to film commitments, I received only a few days to prepare. I appeared for the exam only due to the confidence passed to me by my family. There are three more exams. Until everything gets over I can’t sleep properly.” Said Indrans.

"Indrans sir is a very well-read and knowledgeable person. No worries as he will surely pass with top marks.'' - said Prerak Vijayalakshmi.

On Sunday, Kerala State Literacy Mission Authority will conduct 7th standard equivalency exams for subjects social studies, science and mathematics. Next year, Indrans will appear for the 10th class examination. A total of 3161 people are appearing for the 7th standard exam in the state.
