KOZHIKODE: The Kozhikode Enforcement RTO has stated in its preliminary report that a thorough probe is necessary to ascertain the cause of the Thiruvambady KSRTC bus accident. The RTO pointed out that the negligence of the driver may have been the cause of the accident.
The RTO report states that the bus's tyres were in good condition and there were no brake issues. It also stated that no vehicle was coming from the opposite direction at the time of the accident and the bus was not overspeeding. However, the RTO recommended a re-examination of the bus's braking system and a detailed investigation into the incident.
