Clean chit for Prayaga Martin; Sreenath Bhasi likely to be grilled again

KOCHI: The details of the statements of actress Prayaga Martin and actor Sreenath Bhasi in the rave party case connected to gangster Om Prakash, are out. The police said the two doesn’t know Om Prakash directly.

Prayaga arrived at the luxury hotel at 4 am on the day of the incident. She left by 7 am. It has not been found that Prayaga Martin and Sreenath Bhasi used drugs in the party held that day. The actors had informed the investigating officers yesterday that they are ready for the blood test. The investigation team is examining the statements of both in detail.

The actress appeared for questioning at the Ernakulam South Police Station last evening. Prayaga had told the investigating officers that she had gone to the hotel to meet her friends.

Didn't know about the rave party and doesn’t know Om Prakash. Prayaga said that after the news came, she found out who Om Prakash was by Googling. As the statement of Prayaga is satisfactory, the investigating officers are of the stand that she need not be summoned again.

Meantime, the investigation team has some doubts on the financial transactions of Binu Joseph involved in the case and Sreenath Basi. So, Sreenath Bhasi is likely to be summoned again for interrogation. It will also be examined whether there are any drug dealings between them.
